On top of that, the worst part is they said if I decide not to go ahead with them then the advance 200$ will not be returned, which is ridiculous.
I got my FBAR done here and loved the way the entire process was handled. My personal CPA wasn't able to answer some of my concerns and that is why I visited Sanjiv. He was able to answer all my questions. I will move my accounting and taxes from next year.
This review is not for their services, since I din't take their service yet. But this is based on my first visit. First off, I was asked for 400$ for a Joint filing, which in itself is high.
I have been getting my tax returns done by Sanjiv's firm for the past two years. I like that the firm truly provides the personalized service and at the same time his expert staff ensures that complex/unique issues are scrutinized and analyzed adequately.
I do understand it takes time and effort to prepare taxes but keeping all of 200$ does not make sense.
A total mess . Dealing with a CPA with multiple location you will come across series tax complication and audit and paying more taxes then you are suppose to . This CPA was one of them who did my business taxes very poorly , His employees are poor trained and himself spend more time in India then his office helping you . Please find a CPA that you will deal directly with himself and knows your need , Not a his employees who comes and go and has no clue of your tax issues. Very Bad experience with this CPA
If you are going to them as a second option, then don't go as you won't get your money back.
