A great local bike shop. They've really started carrying a little bit of everything, not just road, hybrid/commute, and mountain bikes, but also less common stuff like recumbent trikes (Catrike) and cargo bikes. My wife has been taking her bikes here for at several years, the first time to bring one back from the dead -- it hadn't been ridden in many years (and two moves) and needed a lot of help. It was a mountain bike she wanted to start using as a commute bike, and they did a great job of keeping that almost 20 year old bike going. More recently I took my equally neglected bike in to be revived and they were great about calling when they encountered something unexpected to see if I wanted then to fix it or ignore it. They also fixed a problem I'd been having with the bike years ago and completely forgot. We've both since bought new bikes there. Great local store.
Great service best value in the bay area. Customer service is really good. I alway find myself coming back and giving them my business. Very happy
This place is extremely busy or extremely understaffed. I've tried to take my bike there for a simple derailleur adjustment and they told me I'd have to make an appointment a week in advance. Another time I dropped of a bike for service but they did not complete the job before the end of the day. Had bike since 1030AM and not finished by 530 for a brake bleed job.
Very friendly and helpful. I went there for a roof rack and they took the time to answer all my questions. They gave me advice and were very knowledgeable. They do great work. Very pleasant to work with.
There are so many good local bike shops to support. Don't bother with this one.
