love the playground. keeps my 3 year old entertained. wish there was more shade near play area and mire benches
I like taking my son here to play. There's so much open area to run around, paved pathways for riding a bike, plus a little creek with running water to dip feet in on a hot day. The playgrounds usually have at least a few kids to play with. My main complaint is the lack of shade around the playground, which makes it really hot on hot days. And, of course, if your kid likes to be barefoot, watch out for all the goose poop.
Nice trail around the lake. There's plenty parking spaces and lots of BBQ grills for picnics. There's also children's playground for little ones. But there are lot of birds at the park, so watch out for bird poop when you walk.
Several entrances from Stevenson and Paseo Padre. Now that the BART construction in this area is over (or most of the debris is gone), this park is more accessible.
Nice place for early and late evening stroll during summers. During winter, it rain but lot of big birds converge and becomes wild life sanctuary. Excellent for emotional health, some of these pictures have found world-wide appreciations.
This is a nice large park with a pretty big lake in the middle. Lot of play areas for kids, base ball court, tennis courts but what i use the most is the nice walking path around the lake.
There's even a water park that opens in summers.
