I've been bringing my pets here since 1987. My furry family members have always received the best care, and at a reasonable cost. My current cat is feisty and hates strangers, yet the staff are so gentle with her it's unbelievable... and they are not left in shreds, so they are definitely doing something right!!
Okay, I'm a crazy animal lady. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I've taken my animals here for 20 years. The receptionists and vet techs are always very friendly and kind with my animals. The vets are very caring which is part of the reason they get animals My complaints are the wait time, and the cost for services. Even when I bring my animals in a bit early, they don't take us in for typically 1/2 hour. I still swear by them the dogs & cats are well cared for.
We have brought our animals here for over 20 years. The staff is caring and sensitive to the place our pets reside in our family. When one of our pets had cancer they told us removal of the growth would slow the cancer down but that it would likely come back. It did and we made the decision to wait until Willie did not seem to have a good quality of life. Unfortunately that day came suddenly when overnight, he appeared ill and the vet discovered another growth inside his chest. Dr. Edelman was sensitive to our feelings and understood the pain my husband was feeling as he held Willie for his final shot. I would not take my pup family members anywhere else! I have felt they received only the best of care!
We have two babies, a schnauzer mix and a min pin who think they are king and queen of the house. We've taken our schnauzer to Mission Valley Vets for some years now and just started taking our min pin as a puppy. The care and attention to our dogs is great. You can tell they really care. The staff is very friendly and the vets are wonderful, especially Dr. Edelman. They give you an itemized print out for you to look at before anything is done to your pet so there are no surprises. I would highly recommend Mission Valley Vet to anyone.
