The best hardware store in the area. The staff is friendly and knows their products. The store is very clean. Many retired contractors work on the staff and can provide good tips as to how to complete a project. Selection is good. If they do not have something, they can order anything. Prices are a little bit high, but you are willing to pay for the quality and service.
It's really nice that there still exist stores where the staff area really knowledgeable in their department and can help you pick up parts for your home projects! Their prices are higher than competitors like Home Depot and Lowes but the professional and friendly customer service makes up for it! Now that OSH is gone, it is good that we still have Ace Hardware.
Not so happy with price matching with the same product their other Ace carrier store has. B St. Hayward Ace Hardware has the same product but at a lower price. Dale’s won’t match their’s. I’d go for the cheaper price in which I did. What a shame!
