Do NOT use this store for flooring or other contractor related installs....use a real contractor who has some accountability. Lowe's has an antiquated system that doesn't track it's vendors nor do they communicate when problems arise. They just say 'sorry' and blame it on someone else. These people want the general contractor's profits but without any blowback when they screw up. Then they you are, money and time invested and no recourse but to cancel the order and go with a respectable contractor that knows his business. Lowe's doesn't deal in high end products anyway. They rely on contractors to supply those items so you may as well go there. Everything they provide comes from a box and is cheap junk that they make huge profits from. Buyer Beware, you have been warned
Knowledgeable staff is NOT available all hours of store operation. We were there at 11am and could NOT get help with flooring until the 2pm expert was scheduled to work.
Weak staff. Employees, majority of the time, are only at the registers. And the few that are not are hiding or busy. If you need someone good luck.
Well stocked and helpful staff their garden center is quite interesting and beautiful bought few mum plants for my friends
Don't get me started on the lumber dept. I had a very simple task. Cut a 4x8 sheet of plywood exactly in half at 24inches. This dude tells me it will be close but not exact. I told him just to make a small cut at the edge and check it for adjustment. I need it even. He jams the saw into the my sheet about 3 inches and pulls out a tape measure again. It's not center. He tells me it's the saw. I told him to adjust it. This guy is lost. Long story short I went into Home depot later. First try the guy nails it exactly. No fight.

Needed help to have a project done in Fremont. I got in the middle of the worst game of "pass the buck" I have ever experienced. Apparently they have all the business they need and don't need any more. Must be nice.
On the other hand, if you know what you want then you're better off here. But you might get lost looking at the shelves one by one. So be prepared to look around for your needs.
I'll never have my lumber cut here again. Only reason I continue to shop here is that's it's convenient to my work area. But if I have time I will travel elsewhere.
I have had many other reasons for my 3 star review but really it's up to you. Just come in and make your own decision.
This store has a great inventory. I gave it 3 stars for these reasons.
