Prices are anywhere from full MSRP to super reasonable.
Fairly typical Orchard Supply Hardware store. It's centrally located in the city of Fremont, close to I-880, in a mini strip mall shopping center, so not a bad place to visit for hardware items. Store is clean, well stocked, etc., but like so many other "hardware" stores, most of the staff knows little or nothing about home maintenance and repair and what you need to get things done.
I manage to find 80% of the bits and bobs I need around the home at OSH.
Way understaffed during the week. I always wonder how they stay in business with the lack of customers during the week.
There are not enough staff who know about hardware. Checkout can be a long wait. The location is the best part of this store. Dale hardware is much better.
My local hardware shop - finding help is mostly accomplished. The quality of the help is usually pretty good.
